Art Deco c. 1920 Inventory #BH00093 14kt. white & yellow gold BROOCH with a carved and pierced dark green spinach jadeite plaque in the center. The frame is in white gold and is enhanced by 6 rose cut diamonds. The reverse is in yellow gold . During the 1920's many jadeite plaques were imported to the U.S. to be made into brooches, rings, etc and were generally antique Chinese pieces. This combination of the antique with the modern clean lines of Art Deco was very appealing. The piece is 2-1/4" long X 7/8" wide and is in excellent condition $1200.00 BACK TO BROOCHES
