Dress Clip BROOCH in a shield motif. A wonderful example of high Art Deco
this piece has the sparkle of a lot of diamonds. All of the diamonds are either
old mine cut or rose cut and probably came from an older piece of jewelry
re-fashioned during the 1930's. The center stone is 60 points (.60 carat with SI2
clarity, K-L color), the 2 side stones are each 33 points (1/3 carat with VS2/SI2
clarity, K-L color), there are 5 stone of 25 points each (1/4 carat each
with VS2 clarity, H & K-L color), 1 stone of 15 points (I1
clarity, H color), 13- 7 point stones, 37 rose cut diamonds of 2 to 4
points each and 1- 5 point trapezoidal cut center diamond
accent. The total weight is 5.03 carats (prox) . The back is in the clip style
popular in the 1930's and the piece weighs 9.6 grams, is 1-1/4" tall
X 1-1/8" wide and in excellent condition
