14kt. yellow gold BROOCH in a magnificent crown configuration. This piece features a fixture which could be changed to add a comb for wearing in your hair. Sadly, the comb has been lost in time, but the brooch fixture remains. We are assuming the piece is Russian due to the execution and gold content, although there are no hallmarks remaining. A wonderful and grand piece, there are 32 cabochon cut moonstones ranging in size from .75 carats to 1.15 carats. pale white to light blue in color, for a total weight of 27 carats (prox). There are 21 cushion cut rubies and 21 natural half pearls. For added sparkle, there are 15 rose cut diamonds. This exquisitely executed piece is 3-1/8" wide X 1" high, weighs 32.5 grams and is in excellent condition $4000.00
