yellow gold LOCKET & NECKLACE in guilloche (engine-turned) Prussian blue and
opaque white enamel. A spectacular locket on a gold and enamelled chain
all made by Carter & Gough of Newark creates a perfect blend of components
for the quintessential Art Nouveau piece. The gray blue engine turned enamel is
circled by opaque white and surrounded by a wreath of gold. The center of the
piece is highlighted by a natural pearl. The reverse is also enamelled, as are 7
torpedo shaped links. The locket can be worn separate from the chain to give you
several looks. A gorgeous piece, in excellent condition (one small piece missing
from the inner glass compartments which could be replaced easily), it measures
1" round and the chain is 19" long $1700.00
