14kt. yellow gold enamel
flower PENDANT/BROOCH/WATCHPIN combination. A wonderful example of an Art
Nouveau matte enamel piece which simulates the velvety texture of a real pansy.
The top leaves are dark purple, while the bottom leaves are veined and shaded
from a yellowish enamel to a darker violet. The center is a 12 point old
brilliant cut, prong set diamond. The diamond is VS2, G-H color and is a sparkly
counterpoint to the velvet texture of the enamel. This piece can be worn as a
pendant, a brooch or as a watchpin. It is 1-1/8" tall and 1-1/2" from
the pendant bail (which folds down when worn as a brooch). The enamel is in
pristine condition, the brooch has a safety clasp, there are no maker's marks,
the piece weighs 7.2 grams and is in excellent condition $850.00
