Silver topped 14kt. yellow gold and 14kt. yellow gold sword shaped BROOCH. A fabulous look from a bygone era, this piece has everything. The hilt of the sword is silver topped yellow gold encrusted with 37 single cut diamond. To add a dramatic finish, there is a round, faceted dark blue sapphire and a flat topped, cream colored natural pearl. The scabbard of the sword is guilloche enamel in a pale baby blue color. At the bottom of the scabbard, there are an additional 3 diamonds. The back is nicely finished and features Russian gold marks and a maker's mark. The piece is 4-1/2" long, has a C-clasp and is in excellent condition $1650.00

14kt. yellow gold enamel flower PENDANT/BROOCH/WATCHPIN combination. A wonderful example of an Art Nouveau matte enamel piece which simulates the velvety texture of a real pansy. The top leaves are dark purple, while the bottom leaves are veined and shaded from a yellowish enamel to a darker violet. The center is a 12 point old brilliant cut, prong set diamond. The diamond is VS2, G-H color and is a sparkly counterpoint to the velvet texture of the enamel. This piece can be worn as a pendant, a brooch or as a watchpin. It is 1-1/8" tall and 1-1/2" from the pendant bail (which folds down when worn as a brooch). The enamel is in pristine condition, the brooch has a safety clasp, there are no maker's marks, the piece weighs 7.2 grams and is in excellent condition $850.00

18kt. yellow gold butterfly shaped BROOCH. A great look, this little beauty features a 3.5 point round, prong set diamond. The gold has high definition bullini texturing to accentuate the 8 separate wings. The piece is 1-3/8" wide X 1" tall and weighs 10.1 grams. 14kt. yellow gold dangle BROOCH in a great Art Nouveau style. The center of the brooch features an 8 point, prong set diamond. There are 21 small half pearls. Platinum and 18 kt. rose gold bow dress clip style BROOCH in a quintessential Retro style. This lovely piece features 7 round and faceted, prong set rubies. Set in platinum are 14 round rose cut diamonds. This clip has pierced gold work that is nicely done. It is 1-3/8" wide X 2" long. The attaching mechanism is in the traditional fur clip style. Russian c. 1850 Inventory #BH00240

14kt. yellow gold BROOCH in a magnificent crown configuration. This piece features a fixture which could be changed to add a comb for wearing in your hair. Sadly, the comb has been lost in time, but the brooch fixture remains. We are assuming the piece is Russian due to the execution and gold content, although there are no hallmarks remaining. A wonderful and grand piece, there are 32 cabochon cut moonstones ranging in size from .75 carats to 1.15 carats. pale white to light blue in color. There are 21 cushion cut rubies and 21 natural half pearls. For added sparkle, there are 15 rose cut diamonds. This exquisitely executed piece is 3-1/8" wide X 1" high, weighs 32.5 grams and is in excellent condition $3800.00

14kt. yellow gold pendant BROOCH. A wonderfully fluid piece, this brooch is reticulated in each section to dangle dramatically. There are 13 natural pearls which hang on separate bars. There are 36 rose cut diamond accents in this special piece. A triumphant of the jeweler's art, this piece is 1-3/4" long X 1-1/2" wide, weighs 6.4 grams and is in perfect condition. Platinum bow circle BROOCH. This beauty has 69 single cut and full cut diamonds with a total weight of 1.25 carats (prox). The stones are VS-SI in clarity and H-I in color. 14kt.white gold bouquet style BROOCH features 7 - 6mm pearls with an ecru body color and pink highlights. To make this piece extra special and sparkly, there are 14 round brilliant cut diamonds for a total weight of 20 points (1/5 of a carat). The pearls are the flowers and they are "tied" with diamond encrusted white gold ribbons. 14kt. yellow gold BROOCH/PENDANT in a starburst pattern . This piece is encrusted with half pearls- a total of 54 in all. Central to the piece is a round, old mine cut, prong set diamond of 15 points. The diamond is VS₂- SI₁ in clarity and H color. It is 1-3/8" from the drop and 1-1/8" wide. It has a C-clasp and is in excellent condition $350.00

Platinum topped yellow gold BROOCH in an exquisite flower vase design. The flowers are carved citrine, amethyst, lapis lazuli and carnelian and each has wonderfully detailed petals. Within the center of each carved flower is a natural pearl. The central diamond encrusted "vine" is in the shape of a fleur de lis. The diamonds are approximately 10 points and their mountings are millegrained. The piece is by Krementz of Newark, New Jersey and is fabulous in every detail, as you would expect. The piece is 1-5/8" X 3/4" and is in excellent condition $1850.00

18kt. yellow gold lover's token BROOCH/ PENDANT. This little beauty is a dark cobalt blue guilloche enamel brooch with white enamel encircling the blue. The gold underneath decorates the enamel and is allowed to show through in a millegrain pattern. There are 14 pearls that enhance the outside of the piece. Rose cut diamonds form inter-twined hearts topped with an enameled crown. The back of the piece is almost as interesting as the front with a glass compartment to put a love token or trinket. The original backing is under the glass. The pin stem is held by a C-clasp and extends beyond the outside of the piece, as is typical of jewelry of this age. There is a hanger for wearing as a pendant. The piece is slightly over 1" round and enamel is in excellent condition and overall the piece is in very good to excellent condition $1525.00

14kt. yellow gold navette shaped BROOCH. Lovely and versatile is the look of this brooch and all the features are designed to accent the central square cut, natural blue spinel. Wire twisting, tiny seed pearls and 2 small diamonds are are the finishing touches to a nicely appointed piece. 14kt. yellow gold circle motif BROOCH/ WATCHPIN. A striking, yet simple look, this brooch packs a powerful punch. It is complemented by 9- 7 point old mine cut diamonds (total weight .63 carat prox.) These stones are interspersed with 9 3 mm. natural white pearls. The diamonds and pearls are matched beautifully to create this elegant look. This pin could be used alone or with other scatter pins for something different. Since it is a watchpin, you could add a pearl drop or watch. 18kt. yellow gold BROOCH in the classic French Art Nouveau style. This exquisite piece is styled in the freeform curlicue fashion with engraving and has 8 wine red calibre cut natural rubies for 1/4 carat total weight. A central diamond enhanced floret has a central old mine cut diamond of 33 points and that is surrounded by 12- 4 point rose cut diamonds. Their is a drop containing a 1 point diamond bezel set ending in a 4 mm. natural pearl. The total diamond weight is .82 carats (prox). The piece is 1-3/4" wide X 1" long with the drop. This brooch has a fabulous patina, a C-clasp with safety catch and is in excellent condition $1800.00

Early to Mid-Victorian c. 1845 Inventory #BH00188

High carat silver-topped gold sword style BROOCH. You can not say enough about this piece...it is high Victorian in design and absolutely gorgeous. It features a Burmese hot pink sapphire (some could call it a ruby) in a cushion cut and has an additional three round hot pink sapphires on the sword hilt. There are tendrils of leaves wrapped around the blade of the sword encrusted with demantoid garnets. And as a final touch, sparkly old mine cut diamonds are prong set down the blade and hilt. This piece is 2-1/4" long and 1" wide. You will never wear this brooch without compliments on it. The piece is in excellent condition and has a marvelous patina ON RESERVE

French c. 1870 Inventory #BH00190

18kt. (or better) yellow gold bar BROOCH. A piece of antique French jewelry is difficult to find. It is even more difficult to find one that is truly spectacular...this is that piece. It features 7 pigeon blood red Burmese rubies with a total weight of 2 carats that are incredibly sparkly. The diamonds are old mine cut, are bright and clear and have a total weight of 2 carats. All stones, rubies and diamonds, are round cut and matched for color very nicely and are prong set in silver to enhance their sparkle. A safety chain hangs from the bottom for added protection and the piece has a C-Clasp. The brooch is 1-3/4" long and 1/2" wide at the florette. It is fully hallmarked with the French eagle and is in excellent condition. It comes in its original box $6400.00

Platinum & 18kt. yellow gold buckle style BROOCH. A little gem of a pin, this Edwardian piece has everything going for it. It has a center round diamond of 15 points prong set in an octagonal frame enhanced with millegraining bead work. There are an additional 24 rose cut diamonds also set in millegraining to make the piece even more dramatic. Styled in a buckle look, the piece is platinum with an 18kt. yellow gold carriage (the frame) and pin stem. It is 1-1/2" long X 1/2" wide, has a safety clasp and is in excellent condition $1000.00

Platinum Dress Clip BROOCH in a shield motif. A wonderful example of high Art Deco this piece has the sparkle of a lot of diamonds. All of the diamonds are either old mine cut or rose cut and probably came from an older piece of jewelry re-fashioned during the 1930's. The center stone is 60 points (.60 carat with SI₂ clarity, K-L color), the 2 side stones are each 33 points (1/3 carat with VS₂/SI₂ clarity, K-L color), there are 5 stone of 25 points each (1/4 carat each with VS₂ clarity, H & K-L color), 1 stone of 15 points (I₁ clarity, H color), 13- 7 point stones, 37 rose cut diamonds of 2 to 4 points each and 1- 5 point trapezoidal cut center diamond accent. The total weight is 5.03 carats (prox) . The back is in the clip style popular in the 1930's and the piece weighs 9.6 grams, is 1-1/4" tall X 1-1/8" wide and in excellent condition $5300.00

14kt. white gold lobed navette shaped filigree bar style BROOCH. This beauty has a central old mine cut diamond of 33 points. The accent diamonds are 4- 7 point old mine cut diamonds with 2 square sapphires. The total diamond weight is 61 points (prox). The diamonds are set in millegrained style. There are side accents of 6- 5 point and 8- 2 point diamonds and to make an even more bold statement, there are 4 triangular shaped sapphires. Platinum topped 18 kt. yellow gold pierced and millegrained BROOCH. A lovely example of late Edwardian or early Art Deco, this piece has a very geometric look to it. The center diamond is a round 10 points old mine cut set in a millegrained bezel. There are an additional 26 rose cut diamonds for added interest and if that were not enough, there are 18 calibre cut sapphires at each end of the brooch. The central diamond is surrounded by 16 square cut sapphires. All of the sapphires are a dark, rich blue and the entire mount is millegrained and pierced exquisitely. No detail was left undone. A beautiful piece that is 2" overall in length and 1/2" wide and in excellent condition with a safety clasp $1200.00

18Kt. yellow gold with silver topped gold in a vegetal shaped BROOCH. This beauty is a pre-cursor to the later Art Nouveau movement, but has all the style and fluidity of line of the Nouveau era. A gorgeous leaf motif surrounded by rose cut diamonds mounted in silver give this design a sparkly, alive look. The highlight is a pear shaped, rose cut diamond of approximately .50 points (1/2 carat) . The carat weight of the diamonds is difficult to estimate since they are the rose cut style, but total weight is estimated at approximately 1 carat in 26 diamonds. The diamonds have good clarity, generally not typical of older stones and shows off the quality of workmanship. It has a C-clasp, is 1-1/2" round, can be worn with the large diamond at the top or bottom of the pin, and is in excellent condition $3600.00

French c. 1840 Inventory #S-105

Silver topped yellow gold crescent shaped BROOCH in a fabulous high Victorian design. This French hallmarked piece would be a special addition to any wardrobe. Exquisite in all its details, it has 14 graduated rose cut diamonds in the outer cathedral window shaped tier and contains 10 graduated old mine cut diamonds centered in the windows. The inner course has 23 more rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are good color and clarity, generally not typical of older stones, emphasizing the quality workmanship of this piece. It has a screw in stem and could be converted to a pendant with an additional fixture (not included). A sparkly and wonderful piece, it is 1-1/2" X 1-1/4" and in excellent condition for its age $3600.00

Silver-topped yellow gold handmade diamond encrusted flower BROOCH and PENDANT. The main flower is mounted "en tremblant" (it moves) to show the flash of diamonds at every movement. The patina on this piece is spectacular. When candlelight was the only light, this brooch shimmered with the light of 85 diamonds ranging from .02 points up to .50 points and a total weight of 6-1/2 carats (approximately), VVS₂ to SI₂ in clarity, G-I in color. It probably started life as an aigrette/brooch combination. It has been fitted with a pin stem and pendant combo with an interesting screw in mechanism which can remove the stem. The beauty of this piece is remarkable and no picture can do it justice....it is in excellent condition (considering the renovation which is itself antique), 2" overall in length and a gem of the craftsman's art $7000.00
