Art Nouveau c. 1890                                                                                                           

18kt. yellow gold Art Nouveau Pate de Verre Cameo PENDANT. An enchanting piece from a bygone time, this pendant features a large amethyst Pate de Verre cameo of a classic Roman lady in profile. In traditional French Pate de Verre, the artist mixed crushed glass with enamels or paint to form a paste that was carefully placed in a mold and then fired. Many of the pieces that were made using this technique were relatively small, elaborately decorated, and required more than one firing before they were complete.  This is not small, but is done with great care and precision. The piece features unidentified European hallmarks, probably French. It is 2" long X 1-1/8" wide. There are 2 small fleabites to the chin, but these do not detract from the look of the piece, otherwise, she is in very good condition

14kt. yellow gold Etruscan Revival Cameo PENDANT/BROOCH. A spectacular sardonyx cameo with a portrait of Diane, this piece has all the bells and whistles for Etruscan Revival quality. The frame features rope twisting and cannetille work. The cameo is exceptionally well carved and in pristine condition. This piece is convertible to a brooch or pendant. It has the maker's mark for John Wanamaker of Philadelphia, who was a quality manufacturer in the 19th. century and opened the first department store in the U.S. The brooch is 1-5/8" tall X 1-1/4" wide (not including the pendant bale), weighs 10.2 grams and is in excellent condition

14kt. Yellow gold Cameo PENDANT/ BROOCH in a wonderful Art Nouveau piece. This versatile piece of jewelry features a classic Greek style shell cameo carved in fine relief encircled by platinum topped leaves and seed pearl accents. There are a total of 22 pearls in all. This piece can be worn as a brooch (complete with clutch) or as a pendant with a fold down bail. This cameo is 2" tall X 1-1/2" wide when worn as a brooch...the bail adds 3/8" to the length when work worn as a pendant. This pendant/brooch is in excellent condition

14kt. yellow gold onyx and white shell BROOCH. This piece is more than it seems. The lady on the front in Elizabethan garb is exquisitely carved and detailed down to her jewelry. There are 42 natural  pearls in a trefoil shape around the frame. The pearls are surrounded by black enameling. The back is closed and engraved "Mary to J. M. Woodruff" and has a C-clasp closure. What more could there be? The cameo lifts out of the frame to reveal a hidden compartment for a memento, a lock of hair or some other lover's trinket.  A special cameo, this piece is handmade, measures 2-7/8" tall X 1-1/4" wide, weighs 19.0 grams and is in pristine condition

In this cameo, the Graces are dancing and standing together as they usually do in all classical references. This piece features a beaded frame. The cameo fades from dark to light coral and the Graces are in ivory colored shell. The brooch is 1-3/4" tall X 1-1/2" wide. There is a safety clasp, the piece weighs 13.6 grams and is in excellent condition
