Victorian c. 1870   Inventory #ER00074  

14kt. yellow gold EARRINGS. These earrings feature an oval, bezel set precious coral cameo of a classical woman. The earrings are true coral color. The cameos are 5/8" tall X 1/2" wide and feature natural coral color zoning. The frames engraving and hammer work, along with gold accent balls. The earrings are 1" tall X 3/4" wide and have a shepherd's crook back which has been replaced. The cameos are in good condition $275.00

14kt. yellow gold onyx and white shell BROOCH. This piece is more than it seems. The lady on the front in Elizabethan garb is exquisitely carved and detailed down to her jewelry. There are 42 natural  pearls in a trefoil shape around the frame. The pearls are surrounded by black enameling. The back is closed and engraved "Mary to J. M. Woodruff" and has a C-clasp closure. What more could there be? The cameo lifts out of the frame to reveal a hidden compartment for a memento, a lock of hair or some other lover's trinket.  A special cameo, this piece is handmade, measures 2-7/8" tall X 1-1/4" wide, weighs 19.0 grams and is in pristine condition $1600.00

14kt. yellow gold cornelian shell BROOCH. A wonderful subject for a cameo, the Three Graces, representing Beauty, Mirth and Good Cheer were the daughters of Zeus. In this cameo, the Graces are dancing and standing together as they usually do in all classical references. This piece features a beaded frame. The cameo fades from dark to light coral and the Graces are in ivory colored shell. The brooch is 1-3/4" tall X 1-1/2" wide. There is a safety clasp, the piece weighs 13.6 grams and is in excellent condition $600.00

14kt. yellow gold coral shell BROOCH. This interesting cameo features a ladies face, a butterfly and a bouquet of flowers in white on a light pink field. Even more interesting is that the cameo is horizontal in the nicely engraved frame. This piece is 1-1/2" wide X 1" tall. The cameo is very high and in complete and pristine condition. The brooch has a safety clasp and the piece is in excellent condition  $250.00

14kt. yellow and rose gold coral cameo EARRINGS. These beauties have all the bells and whistles. The cameos are salmon colored coral cameos with the portraits of a classical woman. The frames around the prong set cameos are nicely decorated with rope twist, cannetille balls and leaf forms. The drops are rose and yellow gold and reticulated to sway nicely when worn. There are foxtail drops ending in balls and pierced drops. These fabulous pieces are 2" long from the top as worn, have shepherd's crook backs for pierced ears and are in very good condition (the backs have been replaced). The cameos are not worn or abraded $1400.00

14kt. yellow gold oval cameo BROOCH/PENDANT combination. With a most unusual subject, the carved shell cameo features the side profile of a lovely red-haired lady with her hair about her shoulders. Her skin is alabaster while the background is a light pink color. The frame features a wire twist application and this versatile piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant, with a fold down bail. The pin has a safety clasp and the piece is in excellent condition $450.00

Sterling silver filigree framed cameo BROOCH. A cornelian shell cameo of an elegant lady with flowers on her bosom and hair . The cameo is nicely carved. The frame is light, airy, scalloped and filigreed. The piece is an impressive size, 2-1/4" high X 1-3/4" wide, features a safety closure and is in excellent condition  $275.00

10kt. yellow gold shell PENDANT/BROOCH. The yellow gold frame is a rope twist style. This versatile piece can be worn as a brooch or hung from a chain. The cornelian carved shell cameo is typical of cameos from the early half of the 20th. century.  This piece is 1-3/4" long (including the fold down bail) and  1-1/4" wide. The cameos are bezel set with wire rope twisting and decorative toppers. The earrings are made for pierced ears and are in excellent condition $1900.00

14kt. Yellow gold Cameo BROOCH with a spectacular cameo of Diana, Greek goddess of the moon. The lady of the cameo wears a crescent moon in her hair and has all the classic look of an ancient Greek statue. The cameo is done in cornelian shell. The frame has a heavy rope twisting. This piece is 2" tall X 1-1/2" wide and is very impressive. The piece weighs 19.3 grams and is in excellent condition $1400.00

Art Nouveau c. 1900 Inventory #PT00105

14kt. Yellow gold Cameo PENDANT/ BROOCH in a wonderful Art Nouveau piece. This versatile piece of jewelry features a classic Greek style shell cameo carved in fine relief encircled by platinum topped leaves and seed pearl accents. There are a total of 22 pearls in all. This piece can be worn as a brooch (complete with clutch) or as a pendant with a fold down bail. This cameo is 2" tall X 1-1/2" wide when worn as a brooch...the bail adds 3/8" to the length when work worn as a pendant. This pendant/brooch is in excellent condition $675.00

10kt. Yellow gold “Swiss enamel" BROOCH/PENDANT. The central lady is quite beautiful and immortalized forever in porcelain. There is enameling on top of the porcelain to give this piece a 3-D effect. revival style.  The porcelain plaque is bezel set. The back has the numbers "118" impressed. The frame has rope twisting. The piece is 2-3/4" tall X 1-3/4" wide and is in very good to excellent condition $900.00

18kt. Yellow gold “Swiss” enamel BROOCH in a wonderful Etruscan revival style. The piece features a central panel in porcelain of a shepherdess, a dove and urn in a very colorful picture.  The porcelain plaque is bezel set. The back is closed to protect the plaque. The brooch is 2-5/8” overall in length X ˝” wide. It has a safety clasp, weighs 13 grams and is in overall very good condition with some crazing on the plaque $1300.00

14kt. yellow gold cameo BROOCH with a large 3 dimensional, ivory color meerschaum putti cameo. The cameo is swag draped and the frame has a lovely rope twist.  The cameo is very dramatic and from a most unusual substance. It is 1-3/4" tall X 1-1/4" wide with a C-clasp and it is in good condition with some very minor frame damage and rough areas in the cameo from handling $500.00 

Late Victorian c. 1890   Inventory #PJ40 

14kt. yellow gold coral cameo NECKLACE on a wonderful rope twisted chain and topped with a slide. The slide is an elongated ball shape with small demi pearls set around the equator and vermicelli decoration. The coral cameo is surrounded by a rope twist frame which complements the rope style chain which is 25" long not including the cameo. The cameo is another 1-1/2" long for a total length of 26-1/2" long. The cameo is of a Roman lady and is in pristine condition and overall the piece is in excellent condition $800.00

14kt. yellow and rose gold man's RING with a carnelian cameo. An unusual subject for a man's ring, this little lady is quite lovely and in great condition (a small chip is missing from the lower left corner of the cameo base stone near and under the prong) . A rolled scroll effect is very dramatic and bold. It is a size 10, can be re-sized and is in good condition $650.00

10 kt. yellow, rose and green gold bar and portrait BROOCH. A high Victorian treasure, this piece is accented with flowers and leaves in green and rose gold. The frame and bar are in yellow gold. The centerpiece is a composite hardstone sard cameo in pinkish brown and in excellent condition with no wear or damage visible.  This wonderful piece of Victoriana is 1-3/4" long and 1-1/2" wide at the bar. The brooch has a C-clasp and is in excellent condition $425.00
