14kt. yellow gold CUFFLINKS by Marcus & Company. The New York firm of Marcus & Company, founded in 1892, was one of the most highly regarded American jewelers of its day and received praise from the nineteenth-century French jeweler and historian Henri Vever. The company's founder, Herman Marcus (died 1899), was respected both for his superb artistry and for his business acumen. Beautiful design and masterful execution characterize jewelry produced by Marcus & Company. These spectacular opal cufflinks feature a 7mm X 15 mm navette shaped stone on each link and an 8 mm X 11 mm oval shaped stone. The cabochon cut stones are bezel set in simple gold mountings and have a chain connector on the back. The cufflinks weigh 6.7 grams and are in excellent condition SOLD

14kt. yellow gold CUFFLINKS with a real 1908 and 1914 incused (the design is formed by hammering, stamping, or pressing into the gold) Indian head coin. These coins are 90% solid gold and were some of the last gold coins minted for circulation in the U.S.A. The reverse is a majestic eagle. The cufflinks have a rope twist design around the coin and the coin is bezel set. The coins measure 22mm. round and the cufflinks are 25 mm. round with the edging. They have a flip back with a maker's mark and a patent design number. The total weight is 27.5 grams and the pieces are in excellent condition $1850.00

Platinum topped & 18kt. yellow gold round CUFFLINKS. These extraordinary pieces have all the wealth of style you would expect in true Art Deco pieces. They feature 14 prong set, rose cut diamonds mounted in millegrained platinum. The total weight of these rose cut diamonds is .36 carats (prox weight). The central diamond has banded yellow gold in an "eye of Horus" pattern, suggesting these were contemporary with the opening of King Tut's tomb. They have chain links attached to a flat toggle bar which is platinum topped. They are 5/8" round, weigh 6.5 grams and are in excellent condition $750.00

10kt. white gold WATCH CHAIN in a bar and oval link style. There is a toggle hook on one end and a spring ring closure on the opposite end. The chain is 13" long from ring to toggle. Each bar is nicely engraved with acanthus leaf scrolls and the oval rings are double loops, one with millegraining, the other smooth. An interesting and different chain, it is in very good condition $250.00

The unique holder has a cufflink folding mechanism to allow them to lay flat on the arm. The coins have some "bag" marks, but are in very good condition with crisp and sharp details on both coins.
