Victorian c. 1880

14kt. yellow gold simple frame with a Roman micromosaic BROOCH. The mosaic is set in blue glass and could be representative of the late Victorian period through 1910 period.  The C-clasp does indicate a period earlier than 1900, but is not absolute proof; however, this is a lovely micromosaic of Pompeii and uses a wide palette of colors.
