10kt. yellow gold chatelaine style PURSE. A wonderfully detailed chain mail purse gives you that touch of elegance. This purse could be used for change, a lipstick or for that added bit of excitement on a special occasion. The purse features a finger ring. It is 2-1/4" long X 2" wide and has hand engraving on the frame. The piece weighs 31.0 grams and is in excellent condition $650.00

14kt. yellow gold finger or chatelaine baby mesh PURSE. This piece features a lovely engraved top with an un-engraved cartouche and a cabochon sapphire which acts as the closing clasp. The purse itself is 2-1/4" long and with the finger ring, it measures 5-1/4" long. The piece weighs 20.9 grams and is in excellent condition $525.00

14kt. Yellow gold CHATELAINE or WATCH BROOCH in a wonderful Art Nouveau style. It features a solid top pin with a woven cascade pattern. The bottom has a toggle closure . It is 5” overall in length and 1” wide at the top. It weighs 13.6 grams and is in very good condition $750.00

14kt. yellow gold PILL CASE or small NECESSAIRE. A gorgeous octagonal shaped case with a finger ring. The piece is heavily engraved with fine details. The inside features a mirror. The piece is finely made and worthy of any Newark jeweler. The box is 1-5/8" wide and 1/2" thick. It weighs 25.6 grams, has a monogram of "GWC" or "CWC"  and is in excellent condition $1200.00

9kt. yellow gold LUCIFER or VESTA case. Just when you thought you couldn't find that special piece for a person who has everything, here it is. A wonderful piece in a tactile oval shape, this personal match case is fully hallmarked from Chester for 1904-1905 and has a  maker's mark.  The case is engraved with an armored lower leg and very stylized initials. The top is tightly hinged and there is a loop for hanging from a cord. The piece is 1-1/2" square, weighs 14.5 grams, is in excellent condition and comes complete with matches. $500.00

14kt. yellow gold kite shaped LOCKET (originally a necessaire). This magnificent piece has detailed engraving on front & back and is accented with 2 cabochon sapphires. And as if to add to the beauty, there is a pearl studded tassel. The original insert still holds a trace of the mercury diamond mirror, but could now hold personal small treasures. The locket weighs 35.25 grams, is 2-1/2" long (not including tassel or chain), has a maker's mark for Dalzell & co., Newark, New Jersey and is in excellent condition (although the finger ring is not attached & a chain is not included) $2200.00

10kt. yellow gold pencil which can be worn as a pendant. Probably part of a lorgnette for the stylish, slightly forgetful person around the turn of the century. The pencil is in excellent condition and writes $150.00

14Kt. yellow gold HATPIN in an Etruscan Revival style. A simply gorgeous piece, it features a faceted sapphire on the end, granulation and wire twisting. The stem is 14kt. gold and is 12" long. A wonderful and unusual example and in excellent, pristine condition $675.00

Made of rock crystal and bound with gold, this ball shaped charm would make a great addition to a charm bracelet or could be used as a pendant. The ball is 7/8" round and hangs 1-1/2". 10 & 14kt. yellow gold watch FOB. This small treasure would make a wonderful pendant or charm. It features a uniquely shaped foiled amethyst that is flat on the bottom, but has facets in the stone.. It does not have any engraving on the stone which makes it somewhat unique. The piece is 3/4" high and weighs 3.4 grams and is in excellent condition $175.00

14kt. yellow gold CHARM. A wonderful sentiment for the lucky or unlucky in love, or is it gambling? This charm is 1-1/4" round and features 3-D dice with a lucky seven and a royal flush. The sentiment says "Can't Lose with You". The piece weighs 8.3 grams and is in excellent condition $175.00

12kt. yellow gold SEAL FOB in a fabulous design. The fob is centered with a faceted and foiled large oval citrine. The citrine is 24mm X 21mm and is carved with "AULD LANG SYNE"  and clasped hands. "Auld Lang Syne" means "To former glories" or "To the old days" and is Scottish in origin and made famous by Robbie Burns' poem. The seal is wonderfully made with "pleated" base, edging and a stylish top. The fob is quite large, 1-1/2" tall and can be worn on a chain. It would make a wonderful and bold pendant. The piece weighs 21.2 grams and is in excellent condition $450.00

18kt. yellow gold WATCH CHAIN in a fabulous enameled link style. This exquisitely detailed piece features 7 colors of enameling- dark blue, red, black, white, green, dark green and light blue. The gold work is raised above the level of the enamel.. The links alternate between small and large rectangles. The small links have a fluted end cap and the large links have open round links. This piece is  15-1/4" long including the toggle which is a scaly snake.. This chain weighs 9.6 grams and is in excellent condition $1400.00

Onyx flowers backed by 14kt. gold are the defining elements for these CAPE PINS. There is an anodized or enameled gold chain linking the 2 pieces together and each flower is highlighted by a wonderful natural pearl. The pin stems are white metal . Sterling silver CARD CASE with engine turned engraving. A wonderfully detailed period piece, the case is 3-1/4" long X 2-1/4" wide and 3/8" thick. There is a cartouche with an engraved name. The top seals nicely and the piece is in excellent condition $190.00

Sterling silver chatelaine PURSE. This piece is by Gorham and has all the style you expect from them. The body is star shaped flat chain mail and features 8 tiny dangling balls (all intact). The frame has floriate scrolling and leaves with a small loop. The clasp is 2 putti cherubs. It features full maker's marks for Gorham and a style number. The "body" of the purse is 4-1/2" long and overall the piece is 7" long. This piece is in excellent condition $350.00

Sterling silver CIGARETTE CASE. The detail on this piece includes engraved lines and a center cartouche engraved with an "R". This piece is 5" long X 2-3/4" wide, weighs 119 grams and the hinge is secure. The piece is in very good condition $125.00

Sterling silver COMPACT. A stylish necessity for women before World War II, compacts as grand as this were given as tokens of love and affection. This one features a hatch mark design with a crown and the initials ? "MN".  This lovely piece is fully hallmarked for London , 1940 and features a maker's mark of "S & Co.". It is 2-3/8" square, has a lovely intact mirror and spot for a single powder puff. An elegant touch from an elegant time. It is in very good to excellent condition $125.00

Sterling silver COMPACT in a wonderfully large size. This piece has the original mirror and mesh powder inserts. The top has the initials "C A"  and comes in its original bag. The condition of the piece is excellent with some wear to the mirror $150.00

Sterling silver bowed CIGARETTE CASE with wonderful engraving and gilt on the inside. Made in Birmingham , England , fully hallmarked  and dated 1900-01 with a maker's mark for H. Matthews. This piece measures 3-1/2" X 2-1/4" outside and 3-1/6" X 2-1/16" inside. It has a bowed top and a slight bow on the back side.  It has its original elastic inserts and is in excellent condition $275.00
