Platinum topped gold negligee pendant style NECKLACE. The negligee pendant is a type of necklace from which two pendants of unequal length are suspended. This is a very simple, elegant and dramatic piece. The 2 pendants are suspended from a small fan shaped central plaque with 1 rose cut diamond. The drops are mounted on "knife edge" gold which is decorated with 2 more rose cut diamonds. The drops have 2 central prong set, round, old European cut 12 point stones. The diamonds are VS-SI1 clarity and H-I color. The diamonds sit in pierced and millegrained frames. The chain is 17" and has a box clasp. The piece weighs 4.8 grams and is in excellent condition $2800.00

14kt. yellow gold NECKLACE in a dynamite Art Deco style. This necklace features 8 carved, pierced and polished carnelian plaques in a bright autumn rust orange color. The carnelians are prong set and sit on a gold frame. The central plaque is 2-1/8" long X 1-3/8" wide and is carved with peonies. The peony is also known as the 'flower of riches and honor', and is used symbolically in Chinese and Japanese art. The smaller plaques are also carved with a flower motif and are 3/4" X 3/8". The chain is handmade and is a double square. The necklace is 17" long and in excellent condition. The piece weighs 33.6 grams $2450.00

15kt. yellow gold festoon NECKLACE with a charming, sophisticated and gentile look. The central plaque is 3 florette shapes each centered with a bezel set, round faceted ruby. The rubies are surrounded by 5 natural pearls each. There is a drop of one bezel set, oval ruby that is 5mm X 4mm, about 35 points (.35 carats). Tying the festoons together are 4 more florette shapes, 2 of them have a bezel set, faceted blue sapphire and the other 2 are rubies and all are surrounded by 5 natural pearls. There are a total of 35 natural pearls in this necklace. The necklace has a simple ring chain, is 20" long (could be made shorter if desired), has a 1" drop and a spring ring clasp. The piece weighs 5.7 grams and is in excellent condition $2200.00

12kt. yellow gold pendant NECKLACE in a wonderful transitional piece from the Late Georgian/Early Victorian period. This piece features 4 oval wine red cabochon cut garnets. The center garnet is 9.5mm X 7.5mm and bezel set. It features a very high dome. It is surrounded by 22 natural pearls strung on horsehair . The pearls are held in place by a rub over serrated bezel. The back is closed in as is typical during the Late Georgian period. The smaller drop has a 3.75mm X 3.0mm garnet and the stone is surrounded by 12 natural pearls. The 2 side pieces have 5.0mm X 4.0mm garnets and 14 natural pearls each. There are a total of 62 natural pearls which are white/gray and have a nice sheen. All the plaques feature closed backs. The chain is woven, double link and the necklace is 17" long. There is a replacement barrel clasp that is 14kt. yellow gold. The drop is 1-1/6" long. The back of the central plaque has a monogram of "NB" in old English script. The piece weighs 13.2 grams and is in excellent condition $1600.00

Tortoise shell LOCKET & NECKLACE. A spectacular piece of Victoriana this large link chain with rolled yellow gold fittings holds an oval locket with initial overlay. The fittings have a toggle closure. The chain links measure 1" long X 3/4" wide and the locket is detachable and can be worn separate from the necklace. These pieces are over 140 years old and the necklace and locket have mellowed to a rich dark brown as you would expect from a piece this old. The necklace has a hook closure and is 21" long. The locket is 2-1/4" long (including the bale) X 1-1/2" wide and has applied initials. The initials appear to be "MED", but are in a very Gothic decorative style. The hinge is very sturdy and the locket opens and closes securely. The piece is in very good condition with a small loss of shell by the side hinge (shown) and some crazing to a few links $1900.00

14kt. yellow gold festoon NECKLACE. The sparkle of this piece comes from the peridot. The peridot are bright green and not typical of the stones you see today. There are 15 round bezel set peridot and 3 briolette cut peridot. This style is an Art Nouveau creation to show off the stones in a piece to their full potential. It was a light and airy change from the heavy Victorian jewelry that preceded it. The total carat weight is 14 carats (prox). The necklace is 16" long (and can be extended), weighs 9.9 grams and is in excellent condition $3900.00

14kt. rose gold and platinum NECKLACE. Spectacular period piece, this necklace features all the bells and whistles of the Retro era. It has a "cascade" of rubies- 25 in all. All are round and prong set, ranging in size from 1 mm to 3 mm. Additional sparkle comes from 5 prong set diamonds mounted in platinum. The round brilliant cut diamonds are 2- 7 points + 1-15 point + 1-20 point and 1-33 point for a total weight of 82 points (.82 carats prox). The diamonds are VS2-SI1 and H color. The necklace features a thick (5.5 mm wide) snake chain. The "clothes pin" style closure is very unusual and meets in the front of the necklace for ease of putting on. The center is 1-1/4" wide X 1-1/2" tall and is very impressive worn. The chain is 17-1/2" long (including the centerpiece), the piece weighs 51.4 grams and is in excellent condition $2800.00

Platinum and yellow gold diamond and pearl NECKLACE. This fabulous piece features a platinum chain with natural pearls ending in a central drop with 4 natural pearls and 6 old European cut diamonds. The special feature of this piece is a briolette diamond drop that measures 5.25 mm X 3.07mm.. The total diamond weight is calculated to be .85 carats. The diamonds are VS-SI in clarity and H-I-J-K in color. The pearls are 3.25 mm in size. This necklace has a simple, yet elegant and rich look. 9kt. rose gold NECKLACE in a wonderfully romantic Victorian piece. There are 12 heart shaped deep green tourmaline drops which are each set in a exquisite coronet mounting. The mountings, curb chain and barrel clasp are in rosy gold which show off the deep green of the tourmaline to perfection. The tourmaline weigh approximately 9-1/2 carats. 18kt. yellow gold NECKLACE in a fabulous filigree pattern. The necklace is a light look with a lot of presence. It has a central drop which is echoed in the side pieces and the chain itself. 14kt. yellow gold PENDANT & CHAIN with guilloche enamel. The pendant is enameled in a turquoise/blue gray color with a white Greek design on the front. The reverse features the same enameling with a gold cartouche. The cartouche contains a monogram which is indecipherable, but interesting. The piece opens to provide a small picture holder. The chain is spectacular with the small turquoise/blue gray enameling with links, round and rondelle spacers. The chain is 19' long plus the "drop" which 3-1/2" long. The locket is 1-3/4" round, including the bail. A great piece, the enamel is in pristine condition and the piece is in excellent condition $1350.00

Brass Bohemian garnet NECKLACE with 5 rosettes. The rosettes are progressively smaller from the center and have small drop off each. The necklace features a link chain with garnet spacers. The clasp is a box style and is encrusted with garnets. These garnets are the traditional pyrope garnets which are rose-cut. The stone are vibrant red and the clasp has "made in Czechoslovakia" on it. The necklace is 17" long and in excellent condition $425.00

14kt. yellow gold NECKLACE with fabulous onyx or jet links. Each link is separated by a gold ring and there is a ring drop in front. A locket can be added to the drop or it can be removed for a different look. The onyx is sculpted into elongated navette shaped pieces which are decorated. The necklace is 19" long and the drop is 1-1/2" long. Each onyx piece is 1-1/4" long and there are a total of 15 with the drop. This piece has a wonderful look and is in excellent condition $550.00

14kt. yellow gold coral bead NECKLACE. This piece was probably a souvenir from the "Grand Tour" all accomplished and wealthy young people were required to do to finish their classical education. A great necklace, this piece is in graduated salmon colored coral with its original stringing. The coral is nicely matched in color and not dyed. The clasp is a tongue and tube style and could be ornamented if desired since there is an additional loop. The piece is 18" long and in near mint condition $400.00

Silver-topped 14kt. yellow gold PENDANT in a chandelier motif. This piece features 19 old mine cut diamonds weighing a total weight of 1.00 carat (prox). The diamonds are located at the top of the bale, in a circle at the top of the pendant, as decoration in the "frame" and above the lower drop. For color, there are 2 bezel set, pear shaped rhodolite garnets dangles. The garnets are 4 carats (prox). The pendant has a very light touch and airy feel to it. The piece hangs 2-1/8" from the bale and is 1-1/4" wide across the frame. The piece is in excellent condition and comes with a 14kt. yellow gold link chain which is 19" long. Both pieces weigh 7.7 grams $3475.00

French jet beads designed in a wonderful choke NECKLACE. There are 16 strands of irregularly sized square black glass beads forming this dog collar style necklace. The beads are divided and held by 5 posts also covered in beadwork. The piece is joined by 3 "hook and eye" closures.
