Antique jewelry is a piece 100 years old or older. Period jewelry is a style of jewelry which represents a specific era, such as "Art Deco". Estate, or pre-owned jewelry can be of any age and indicates that a piece of jewelry has been owned before. Since no one agrees on what time frame constitutes each period, we will use the following criteria to designate specific ages for the jewelry shown. Please note that some jewelry was popular over several periods; however, we have made our best assessment as to the predominant period style.

All jewelry which shows a date designation (such as "C. 1900") is believed by Caroline's Jewelry to be from the period shown. All reproduction pieces are so noted and any piece that is made in the "style" of a period, but is not from that period, is so noted.  Please see Disclaimer .
