Edwardian c. 1904   Inventory #VIEG959

18kt. Yellow gold “Souvenir” box with full French hallmarks for Paris after 1798 in 4 colors of enamel. The case is engine turned gold with a festoon and laurel leaf design. The center has “souvenir” in white enamel with a violet in dark blue and lighter blue on a black background. There are blue “points” around the outside of the box. The reverse features a light blue shield on black enamel. The shield has a violet and a sun “god” over the shield, along with the same engine turning. The pattern on the reverse is slightly different around the shield. There is some abrasion and several light chips to the box. An exquisite piece, it measures 2” round and 3/8” tall. The sides of the box are finished in a diamond pattern. No detail has been forgotten in this piece. It weighs 33.4 grams $1500.00

14kt. yellow gold PILL CASE or small NECESSAIRE. A gorgeous octagonal shaped case with a finger ring. The piece is heavily engraved with fine details. The inside features a mirror. The piece is finely made and worthy of any Newark jeweler. The box is 1-5/8" wide and 1/2" thick. It weighs 25.6 grams, has a monogram of "GWC" or "CWC"  and is in excellent condition $1200.00

Sterling silver Chatelaine snuffbox/ pillbox/ patch box with wonderful engraving on one side & a monogram on the opposite side. Inside is a gold color & overall the piece is in very good condition for its age. $125.00
