10kt. yellow gold chatelaine style PURSE. A wonderfully detailed chain mail purse gives you that touch of elegance. This purse could be used for change, a lipstick or for that added bit of excitement on a special occasion. The purse features a finger ring. It is 2-1/4" long X 2" wide and has hand engraving on the frame. The piece weighs 31.0 grams and is in excellent condition $650.00

18kt. Yellow gold hand PURSE/CASE. Exquisite craftsmanship is the hallmark of this piece in every detail. The design is textured, woven gold and is highlighted by initials picked out in sapphires which are either "LS" or "SL". The initials are 1/2" wide X 3/4" tall and are formed by 29- 2.5mm. sapphires set in platinum. The piece is  3-3/4" square and perfect for holding in your hand. The interior has a flip up bar to hold small goodies. The initials can be changed and a chain added if desired. This impressive piece weighs 171.5 grams (5.4 oz.) and it is in pristine condition, with a sturdy flip opening. A marvelous treasure for a discriminating person $4500.00

9KT. Yellow gold compass CHARM. This charming piece features a rock crystal face on both sides and a working compass. For those ladies and gents that get lost very easily, this will do the trick. The topper has a barley twist chain. There is a maker’s mark of “P & T”, Birmingham , England hallmarks and a date letter of “k” in a rounded square for 1909. It is 1-1/8” overall and in good condition $300.00

14kt. Yellow gold CHATELAINE or WATCH BROOCH in a wonderful Art Nouveau style. It features a solid top pin with a woven cascade pattern. The bottom has a toggle closure . It is 5” overall in length and 1” wide at the top. It weighs 13.6 grams and is in very good condition $750.00

Edwardian c. 1904  Inventory #VIMS00026

14kt. yellow gold PILL CASE or small NECESSAIRE. A gorgeous octagonal shaped case with a finger ring. The piece is heavily engraved with fine details. The inside features a mirror. The piece is finely made and worthy of any Newark jeweler. The box is 1-5/8" wide and 1/2" thick. It weighs 25.6 grams, has a monogram of "GWC" or "CWC"  and is in excellent condition $1200.00

      

Edwardian c. 1904  Inventory #VIMS00023

9kt. yellow gold LUCIFER or VESTA case. Just when you thought you couldn't find that special piece for a person who has everything, here it is. A wonderful piece in a tactile oval shape, this personal match case is fully hallmarked from Chester for 1904-1905 and has a  maker's mark.  The case is engraved with an armored lower leg and very stylized initials. The top is tightly hinged and there is a loop for hanging from a cord. The piece is 1-1/2" square, weighs 14.5 grams, is in excellent condition and comes complete with matches. $500.00

14kt. yellow gold kite shaped LOCKET (originally a necessaire). This magnificent piece has detailed engraving on front & back and is accented with 2 cabochon sapphires. And as if to add to the beauty, there is a pearl studded tassel. The original insert still holds a trace of the mercury diamond mirror, but could now hold personal small treasures. The locket weighs 35.25 grams, is 2-1/2" long (not including tassel or chain), has a maker's mark for Dalzell & co., Newark, New Jersey and is in excellent condition (although the finger ring is not attached & a chain is not included) $2200.00

10kt. yellow gold pencil which can be worn as a pendant. Probably part of a lorgnette for the stylish, slightly forgetful person around the turn of the century. The pencil is in excellent condition and writes $100.00

Victorian c. 1870  Inventory #VIMS00018

14Kt. yellow gold HATPIN in an Etruscan Revival style. A simply gorgeous piece, it features a faceted sapphire on the end, granulation and wire twisting. The stem is 14kt. gold and is 12" long. A wonderful and unusual example and in excellent, pristine condition $675.00
