Berlin iron CARD CASE featuring the coat of arms of a Bremen, Germany family, possibly Haar, Harr, Farr or Faar, as written in old German script at the top of the case. The case bears an applied seal which signifies the Hanseatic city of Bremen's seal (lions rampant & key) and includes the owner's personal coat of arms (armor helmet and plume and base of the shield). The top "locks" with a blue stone closure. The piece is hinged at the top and closes very well. It is 3-1/4" tall X 2-1/2" wide. The seal is in excellent condition, there is some loss to the "blackening" on the case, but is overall in very good condition $75.00
