Sterling silver chatelaine PURSE. This piece is by Gorham and has all the style you expect from them. The body is star shaped flat chain mail and features 8 tiny dangling balls (all intact). The frame has floriate scrolling and leaves with a small loop. The clasp is 2 putti cherubs. It features full maker's marks for Gorham and a style number. The "body" of the purse is 4-1/2" long and overall the piece is 7" long. This piece is in excellent condition $350.00

18kt. Yellow gold hand PURSE/CASE. Exquisite craftsmanship is the hallmark of this piece in every detail. The design is textured, woven gold and is highlighted by initials picked out in sapphires which are either "LS" or "SL". The initials are 1/2" wide X 3/4" tall and are formed by 29- 2.5mm. sapphires set in platinum. The piece is 3-3/4" square and perfect for holding in your hand. The interior has a flip up bar to hold small goodies. The initials can be changed and a chain added if desired. This impressive piece weighs 171.5 grams (5.4 oz.) and it is in pristine condition, with a sturdy flip opening. A marvelous treasure for a discriminating person $4500.00

Spectacular brass framed PURSE in an elegantly simple style by Whiting & Davis. The purse has an arched embossed frame with attached mesh handle strap and a cabochon cut blue stone on the closure. The bag is fringed. It is 7" long, not including fringe and handle strap and is in very good to excellent condition with no tears to the mesh and no loss of fringe $125.00

Fabulous leather and brass purse with rich styling and wonderfully tooled leather. The frame of the purse is brass with flowers. There is a brass flap for pulling the purse open which features Mackintosh rosettes. The opening mechanism is a button push. The handles are nicely finished and hand sewn. The purse features a tooled hummingbird getting nectar from trumpet flowers, is made by "Justin Leather Goods" and is patent dated for 1919. It is in excellent condition with some scuffing, but no missing stitches. The clasp works smoothly and fastens completely The purse is 7" tall X 6" wide $195.00

The piece is finely made and worthy of any Newark jeweler. The box is 1-5/8" wide and 1/2" thick. It weighs 25.6 grams, has a monogram of "GWC" or "CWC" and is in excellent condition $1200.00

Sterling silver COMPACT. A stylish necessity for women before World War II, compacts as grand as this were given as tokens of love and affection. This one features a hatch mark design with a crown and the initials ? "MN". This lovely piece is fully hallmarked for London, 1940 and features a maker's mark of "S & Co.". It is 2-3/8" square, has a lovely intact mirror and spot for a single powder puff. An elegant touch for an elegant time. It is in very good to excellent condition $125.00

14kt. yellow gold kite shaped LOCKET (originally a necessaire). This magnificent piece has detailed engraving on front & back and is accented with 2 cabochon sapphires. And as if to add to the beauty, there is a pearl studded tassel. The original insert still holds a trace of the mercury diamond mirror, but could now hold personal small treasures. The locket weighs 35.25 grams, is 2-1/2" long (not including tassel or chain), has a maker's mark for Dalzell & co., Newark, New Jersey and is in excellent condition (although the finger ring is not attached & a chain is not included) $2200.00
